Last month I did a review of some of the products and services PetShopBowl offer and was impressed by the quality of the products provided and the friendly service offered.
One of my lucky readers will win a month's supply of Canagan Grain-Free Premium dog food worth over £80. ReplyDeleteWe rescued a pup from Cyprus last month :) Benji is a jura hound (nope we hadn't heard of it either lol) who was dumped in a cardboard box outside the pound with his 5 brothers when they were approximately 6 weeks old. We saw him and instantly fell in love with him! Benji was fostered whilst we waited for his flight and has been with us now for a month. He's cute, crazy and a bit of a nutter sometimes, we love him to bits! :)

ReplyDeletewe have a 3year old whippet x dalmatian daisy- she was sent to be pts when she was 4weeks due to hr mum dying. she has severe health issues including allergies to lots of food so would love to try her on this.
we also have an 11yr old mastiff cross stella - she was given to us xmas eve when she was 9 to stay for a week and was never collected. she has dementia and is terryfied of loud and sudden noises and doesnt do walking, cold or rain

ReplyDeleteI have a rescue dog too, a miniature schnauzer named Lucy. She was a puppy farm dog who was rescued a few weeks before we found her. She had her first litter of pups at 6 months old, and was terrified of everything for the first year in our home. She had never even been for a walk, she had no idea how to walk on a lead and just froze to the spot. She has a few health issues now, but Canagan seems to agree with her! Now she is a happy little girl who has plenty of love and affection :)

ReplyDeleteMy little westie has trouble with itchy skin and I'be tried so many different foods. I'd like to try Canagan as I've been told that wheat may be her problem.

ReplyDeleteWe have a husky x collie who is now the grand old age of 17. His back legs get a bit stiff and sometimes he will need a hand getting up but he still has his marbles and we love him very much and cant imagine life without him. We also have a Great Dane X Ridgeback and she is a real scardy cat just like Scooby doo and she loves nothing more than to sit on your knee, we don't think she realises how heavy she is.

ReplyDeleteMarley is an old boy now, over 14, but still learning to be a dog. We rescued him at 4 years, and he didn't even know how to go stop and sniff till our other dog taught him. He has recently got the hang of barking.
ReplyDeleteMy dog Rolo is a big lovable lab. He loves our early morning walks charging through the woods. Rolo is always at the door to greet us, even if we've nipped out for two mins. He likes to sit next to us putting his head on our laps for a cuddle. He has a bed by our bed but once he knows we are asleep he will nip onto the bottom of the bed. He is a big part of our family

ReplyDeleteI have a beautiful Japenese Akita, she is fawn & white with a black mask; she looks like she is wearing black eyeliner with a flick, has a black mole on either cheek, a tiny white ring behind her nose. Her ears feel like velvet & she has a big curly tail she is 8yrs old now but just as cute as when she was a puppy, when she is given a bone she jumps & dances around it whilst barking at eat.
ReplyDeleteAs she is a very big dog she loves long walks at least twice a day, sadly I'm now in a wheelchair so can't take her but I try to come along as often as possible. She is my best friend in the whole world & I couldn't live with out her. She is always by my side & has got my through so much, I feel so lucky to have such a loyal companion; she makes me smile many times every single day, I love her so much. :)

ReplyDeletei have the most gorgeous little girl called called poppie.she is our 2 year old springer spaniel and she is a loving as a child.she has the kindest temperment towrds our children and very protective over me as i am currently unwell at the moment so she fab in the house for me.shes an excellent guard dog although her bark is worse than her bite as they say lol.she the best thing ever to of been brought into our family as we have had her since she was 12 weeks old and cant imagine our life without her in it xx

ReplyDeleteWe have 2 gorgeoua labs! Jess is a very pale golden colour and Abbie is Fox Red! Jess is our miracle dog! She went missing 2 years ago, completely disappeared out of our farm. 9 months later she turned up again on our doorstep! Whereever she'd been she'd been bred for pups and then let go. Poor girl went through it but very happy to be back home and no lasting effects. We still cant believe we have her back!! :D

ReplyDeleteWe got rescue dog last year that has the brains of a collie and the stomach of a lab! She hadn't been socialised at all & was just kept in the kitchen so we've been dealing with puppy tantrums etc & stubborn youth behaviour at the same time! She can be "challenging" but when we teach her something new or have a breakthrough it's really rewarding. She's come a long way in a year, everyone loves her although her nickname is still cheeky! :)

ReplyDeleteI have two Standard Poodles - 13 yr old Bella and her 11yr son Ringo. Poor Bella has almost died twice this year from chest infections but she is a fighter.
ReplyDeleteThey are typical poodles too clever by half and able to get their own way but they are funny and lovable too.
I have a 2 yr old Husky called Loki and a 7 yr old border collie called Joseph (who lives with my son) both are full of personality and energy and i love them to bits xxx

ReplyDeleteLove my boy, he came into our life as a pup when my son was born. He is a boxer, the best nature you could hope for for a family dog. He has never growled or shown his teeth before. He is mad as a hatter and darts around the garden. He picks up huge rocks and throws them around the garden - his teeth are proof of this. He is very sensitive, he likes to be loved. He is cheeky and clever. He can open doors himself, by standing up resting one paw on the frame and using the other to pull the handle down and pull the door. He is a loud snorer! He is 8 yrs old.
